Launching their new brand of ocean-going ships in 2015 with the Viking Star, a 930-guest vessel currently under construction, Viking continues to impress with the recent announcement of two additional sister ships coming in 2016.   The Viking Sea and Viking Sky will sail in the Eastern and Western Mediterranean as well as in Scandinavia and the Baltic and two new itineraries are on the horizon for the British Isles.

All three ships will offer included shore excursions in every port, all meals, beer and wine with lunch and dinner, free Wi-Fi and 24 hour room service; additionally all staterooms and suites (465 in all) will have a verandah. The ships will have a Nordic-themed décor, an all-season main pool with a retractable roof as well as a glass-backed infinity pool, a library, various dining choices, a main Theater and Piano Lounge and a stunning spa.  The inaugural season of the Viking Star is already 70% sold out and many of the itineraries will offer extended port stays with late evening departures and some overnight calls.
