Luxury Gold, global leader in luxury escorted journeys, takes travellers around the world via exceptional itineraries including India over Diwali and at various times of the year. This year, there are eight itineraries offered for India and the Indian subcontinent, with each journey carefully curated to include unparalleled experiences only available through Luxury Gold.
One of the most celebrated festivals in India, Diwali, takes place this year on November 7 which is the festival of lights and is marked with four days of celebration where each day has a different story to tell and traditions centred round following the inner light of goodness. What is constant throughout is the celebration of life, its enjoyment and a sense of peace and prosperity. Visiting India during Diwali is a fascinating experience – all of the rituals of Diwali have important significance behind them. The country appears illuminated with homes full of lights, candles and spiritual offerings, while fireworks fill the skies which is said to be a way to express respect to the heavens and a request for peace, health, prosperity, wealth and knowledge. Luxury Gold is also pleased to offer a 10% Early Payment Discount for a limited time on journeys selected by clients based on their preferences. *
“India is full of cultural riches, historic gems and breathtaking natural wonders that are not to be missed,” said Brad Ford, president of Luxury Gold. “During Diwali, clients can experience a deeper level of cultural immersion as our journeys get up close and personal with locals celebrating and the customs that make for a truly magical experience – from discovering Diwali dishes with plenty of sweets, to decorating homes with Rangoli, colourful artwork made with rice powder that locals use to decorate their porches with gorgeous designs – we exist to offer travellers once-in-a-lifetime experiences.”
