Club Med & Lacoste Announce A Partnership And Contest

Club Med has just announced a Canadian partnership with French clothing company, Lacoste. Known for its premium services and upscale experiences, Club Med is an expert in delivering premium sports vacations, with up to 15 sports and activities to choose from at Club Med resorts. With Lacoste’s expertise in the sports and lifestyle apparel industry, the partnership was a natural fit. Driven by shared brand values and dedication to sport and team spirit, the partnership brings with it several activations across Club Med resorts, special Club Med discount vouchers and a contest to win a trip for two to a Club Med resort.

To kick off the partnership, Club Med and Lacoste are offering the chance to win an all-inclusive stay for two adults at Club Med, and up to $2,000 of Lacoste clothing. People can enter the contest at, or at this link with no purchase necessary. The contest is also running at 11 Lacoste boutiques in Canada including locations in Toronto, Vancouver and an immersive VR experience at Montreal’s Ste-Catherine St. flagship store.

The two brands have worked together on a variety of projects in the past, including Golf and Tennis weeks with Lacoste ambassadors at select European locations in Marrakech La Palmeraie (Morocco), Opio en Provence (France), Da Balaia (Portugal) and Vittel Le Parc (France). During these activations, Lacoste athletes were invited to the resorts to interact with guests and staff and partake in demonstrations, tournaments, conferences and events. The brands also partnered with Les Petits As Tennis Tournament, the most famous world tournament for kids under 14. Hosted at Club Med Sandpiper Bay, Lacoste provided clothing for all staff and participants and offered an equipment package to all winners and finalists. The next Golf and Tennis week will take place at Club Med Marrakech La Palmeraie next spring 2019 and will be hosted by Lacoste ambassadors specialised in tennis and golf. Additionally, Club Med Bali will host the first Asian playoff series of Les Petits As this October.

To celebrate the partnership, the brands created a capsule collection of the famous “45” polo shirts, sporting the iconic crocodile Lacoste logo. Referring to the 45th Anniversary of Club Med, the “45” emblem has become widely recognized as a symbol of the Club Med spirit and brings a sense of pride to Club Med G.O.s and G.M.s. The capsule collection polo shirts come in a variety of colours including blue, red and white, a nod to both brands’ French roots. Each year the “45” polo shirt is recreated, instilling current trends and patterns to provide guests with a stylish look that they can continue to collect worldwide for years to come. These limited edition “45” polo shirts are available for purchase at Club Med resorts in Cancun Yucatan (Mexico), Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) and Sandpiper Bay (Florida), as well as 16 resorts in Europe.

Showcasing this partnership across Lacoste boutiques in Canada, Club Med resorts and through immersive experiences with athletes and staff, Club Med is proud to unite both brands and kickoff what will be a longstanding relationship with a world-renowned, premium brand like Lacoste.
