AmaWaterways has released details on its new ‘Ultimate Cruise Flexibility’ program, created to provide further peace-of-mind and flexibility when planning vacations with the river cruise line. Valid on individual and group bookings for 2021 sailings in Europe and Asia, those who book by January 31 will have different options to protect their river cruise vacation starting with the ‘Ultimate Cruise Flexibility’ providing complimentary re-scheduling of the river cruise portion of the trip.
“There is so much joy that comes with planning future vacations, and we know that our travel partners and their clients are prioritizing flexibility and peace of mind more than ever in today’s landscape,” said Kristin Karst, co-founder and executive vice president of AmaWaterways. “Our new, temporary ‘Ultimate Cruise Flexibility’ was designed to ensure travellers feel confident about reserving their next river cruise and get excited about the many breathtaking experiences waiting to be discovered on the world’s rivers. International travel will start rebounding in 2021, and we want to ensure our guests are comfortable in reserving early in order to get their favorite ship and stateroom to celebrate all those dearly missed 2020 occasions.”
All 2021 Europe and Asia cruises booked by January 31 will be protected through the ‘Ultimate Cruise Flexibility’ program. This flexible complimentary policy allows guests to reschedule the river cruise portion of their journey through 2023 without any change fees. Rescheduling for any reason can be made up to 48 hours prior to the start of their AmaWaterways purchased services without fees. For those who book other parts of their journey through AmaWaterways, including pre- or post-cruise land packages, air travel and extra hotel nights, the Travel Waiver Plus can be purchased for CAD$175 per person to cover cancellations for any reason up to 24 hours prior to the start of all AmaWaterways purchased services.
In 2021, AmaWaterways will debut five new itineraries and new pre- and post-cruise land packages, including wandering off the beaten path in hidden destinations such as the village of Hessa in Egypt or experiencing the world’s most sought-after places, such as Lake Como, Italy – also known as the ‘James Bond’ of the Italian lakes. Promising to be a strong re-bound year, three new ships are set to debut in 2021, including the luxurious AmaDahlia on the Nile River and the elegantly appointed sister ships AmaSiena and AmaLucia on the Rhine River.
