Emerald Cruises is set to embark on its most significant fleet expansion to date, announcing the addition of four new luxury vessels scheduled to launch between 2026 and 2027. The expansion includes two next-generation superyachts and two river ships, marking a transformative era for the luxury cruise line.
The expansion begins with the introduction of Emerald Kaia in 2026, followed by two sophisticated superyachts, Emerald Raiya and Emerald Xara. Emerald Raiya will commence operations in the Seychelles in December 2026 before repositioning to the Eastern Mediterranean for Greece and Turkey itineraries in April 2027. Emerald Xara will debut in the Mediterranean in April 2027 and later transition to Caribbean routes from November 2027.
Adding to its river cruise portfolio, the custom-built Emerald Lumi will join the fleet in 2027, offering exclusive Seine River voyages from Paris to Normandy. The vessel's innovative design allows access to sought-after ports like Honfleur and Rouen, featuring extended stays and carefully curated excursions focusing on French culture, art, and cuisine.
"This strategic expansion represents our commitment to providing unparalleled luxury travel experiences," said [Spokesperson Name], [Title] at Emerald Cruises.
