Five 2028 Itineraries Are Now Available for Booking, Exclusively for North American Travellers

Riviera Travel River Cruises, a leader in ultra-premium river cruising, ocean yachts, and global land travel for more than 40 years, announced the official opening of bookings for its 2028 river cruises. Featuring five of the cruise line’s top-selling routes, this launch allows North American travellers to book earlier than any other market, with better stateroom availability, boosted savings, and increased choice of departure dates along the Douro, Danube, Rhine, and Rhône rivers. 

“The decision to open 2028 sales early comes in response to an unprecedented demand from U.S. travellers,” said Stuart Milan, president of North America for Riviera Travel. “In under two years, we’ve expanded into the North American market and created a product that guests trust and are excited to be a part of.”

The five itineraries now open for early booking, with limited-time savings of up to 50 percent off include:

•       Highlights of the Douro Valley & Salamanca– During this eight-day river cruise, travelers can enjoy authentic local experiences with nine complimentary excursions. Highlights include visiting Guimarães, the birthplace of Portugal, and experiencing a UNESCO World Heritage awarded site. Originally priced from $6,499, guests can now embark on a picturesque journey through the Douro Valley for $3,249 per person.
•       The Blue Danube – For eight days, travelers can explore historic Basilica, scenic Salzburg, classic Vienna, and everything in between, taking in cultural monuments and timeless architecture with nine complimentary experiences available. Originally priced from $5,099, guests can now sail along one of Europe’s most enchanting rivers for $2,549 per person.
•       The Douro, Porto & Salamanca– Passengers will begin in Porto, the home of Port wine, before commencing on an 8-day journey sailing through charming villages and medieval towns with 10 included experiences available. Originally priced from $5,799, travellers can immerse themselves in sweeping Mediterranean landscapes for $2,899 per person.
•      Rhine Cruise to Switzerland– Passengers can enjoy 10 complimentary experiences while taking in the panoramic views along one of Europe’s most scenic waterways, with itinerary highlights like passage through the Rhine Gorge and a rail journey into the Bernese Oberland. Originally priced from $6,699, guests can sail through sweeping mountain landscapes for $3,349 per person. 
•       Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence – On this 8-day itinerary with 11 included experiences, guests can explore scenic winelands and sweeping hills along the Rhône river, including a visit to the Ardeche Gorges, one of France’s most outstanding natural landscapes. Originally priced from $5,399, travelers can sail through one of the most picturesque corners of France for $2,699 per person.

Now sailing on the Danube and Rhine Rivers, guests can experience the brand’s innovative split-level design first-hand with 18 unique itineraries.
