To celebrate Cunard’s special 175th Anniversary Year in 2015, Cruise and Travel Lifestyles (CATL) has sent one of its writers to Britain and they are sailing on the revered Queen Mary 2 right now. We will have a special feature article on this unique cruise company and their incredible flagship, fondly called QM2,  in our January 2015 issue of CATL along with other informative articles on travelling in the UK and Ireland.

Our publisher Vanessa Lee attended the christening of QM2 in Southampton in January 2004 in the presence of Her Majesty the Queen, and has many fond memories of also sailing on Queen Elizabeth 2 and other Cunard ships over the years. This iconic brand will be brought to life by our writer Allan Lynch in our next issue – which will be a very British issue indeed.
