Riviera River Cruises Offers More in Europe in 2020

In 2020, Riviera River Cruises will expand its European offering with the addition of two new cruises – one in France and the other through Bohemia.

In France, the eight-day ‘Seine, Paris & Normandy’ river cruise will be available on select departures from April to October, starting in Paris and travelling along the Seine into one of the country's most historic and picturesque regions, Normandy.

The beaches of Normandy

Sailing aboard Riviera’s MS Jane Austen, the itinerary includes a guided tour of historic Rouen, a visit to Claude Monet’s house and famed garden, a stop in Vernon – one of Normandy’s most picturesque towns, a tour of the D-Day beaches, a visit to Les Andelys, a stop in the fishing port of Honfleur, and much more.

In alluring Bohemia, Riviera has added the eight-day ‘Vienna, Bohemia & the Treasures of the Danube River’ itinerary. Available on select departures from April through September, guests will sail aboard MS Thomas Hardy roundtrip from Vienna along the Danube River, enjoying enriching experiences and guided tours along the way.

Some of the inclusions featured on this itinerary are:

  • Guided tours in Vienna and Regensburg
  • A full day excursion to discover Český Krumlov or Linz, on a guided tour
  • A guided tour of Göttweig Abbey
  • Visits to Krems, Passau, Aldersbach Abbey and Schönbrunn Palace
  • A live classical quartet recital on board
  • And much more

Český Krumlov

Additionally, Riviera River Cruises is currently offering guests who book select European river cruises – including the ‘Seine, Paris & Normandy’ and ‘Vienna, Bohemia & The Treasures of the Danube River’ itineraries – a shipboard credit valued at up to €400 per stateroom, or approximately $450 depending on exchange rate, helping to offset the lower Canadian dollar.
