Cocktails by the pool

When the Silver Moon debuts in August 2020, she will unveil a pioneering new culinary program, S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) which has been crafted with immersive culinary experiences in mind. Guests will be able to travel deeper as the program adapts to various regions and visited destinations. A hub of culinary activity, S.A.L.T. Kitchen will be the first large scale regional restaurant on a luxury ship with an ever-changing menu and regionally inspired wines. S.A.L.T. Lab will enable guests to learn about local and artisanal ingredients and techniques through tastings and workshops and the S.A.L.T. Bar will offer samplings of the most authentic flavors of the destinations visited. S.A.L.T. will also eventually unfold on both the flagship Silver Muse and Silver Dawn.

The hallmarks of a Silversea cruise are smaller ships carrying no more than 608 guests, extensive dining options – up to eight choices on such ships as the Silver Muse, including al fresco options, Asian-fusion, the exclusive and intimate La Dame for the finest in dining and numerous other choices. The accommodations are spacious, beautifully appointed ocean-view suites most with veranda and offer guests the attentive services of a butler and a stewardess. La Dame restaurant

The much-loved Silver Shadow has recently undergone a dramatic refurbishment and is now sailing with 388 guests on a range of fascinating global itineraries. She has received new furnishings, drapes and carpets in many areas, including in the suites, and the redesign of space creating a lovely Atrium with the addition of the very popular Arts Café found on other ships in the fleet. La Dame has been enlarged to now offer amazing cuisine to 50 guests in a delightful atmosphere.

Silversea is also known for its exceptional world cruises, which reflect the company’s commitment to stellar destination expertise. The Silver Whisper sails each January on a far-flung voyage to exotic shores and in 2021 she will depart Ft. Lauderdale and sail on ‘The Connoisseurs Way To Experience The World’ on a remarkable voyage taking 150 days to see 54 ports, 34 countries and along nine routes. Guests may choose to take the full cruise or opt for several back-to-back segments in areas of the world of particular interest.
